Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Forumly collects, uses and protects personal data submitted through www.forumly.uk. Last updated: 21 October 2026.

Scope of this policy

This policy covers the Forumly corporate website at www.forumly.uk only — the pages describing Forumly's services, and the enquiry, contact and blog functionality on this site. It does not cover any separate CRM application built or managed by Forumly for a client organisation; access to and use of patient or customer data within a client's own CRM system is governed by that organisation's own privacy notices and its agreement with Forumly.

What information is collected

Forumly collects personal data submitted directly through this website's forms, specifically:

  • The Contact form — name, email address, phone number (optional) and your message.
  • The Request a CRM form — your name, company or clinic name, email, phone, country, current website, organisation details, the CRM requirements you select, and any information you provide in the free-text fields.

Standard technical information (such as IP address and browser information) may also be recorded automatically as part of normal website security logging, described further in the Security page.

Why this information is collected

Information submitted through these forms is used to respond to your enquiry or message, to understand your CRM or database requirements, and to maintain a record of that communication. It is not used for automated decision-making.

How information is stored and protected

Submitted information is stored in a database protected by the technical and access-control measures described on the Security page, including encrypted transmission, role-based access and audit logging of administrative actions.

Sharing your information

Forumly does not sell personal data. Information may be shared with service providers that support the operation of this website, such as the hosting provider and email delivery service used to send notification and confirmation emails, solely for that purpose.

Retention

Information submitted through this website is retained only for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and for legitimate business record-keeping, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have rights that may include access to the personal data Forumly holds about you, correction of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact uk@forumly.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Cookies

This website's use of cookies and similar technology is described separately in the Cookie Policy.

Children

This website is intended for business use and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.

This is not legal advice

This policy describes how Forumly handles personal data submitted through this website. It is not legal advice, and organisations working with Forumly remain responsible for determining their own legal and regulatory obligations in relation to any data they manage using Forumly-built systems.
